5 Reasons to go on a ‘SUP Dog’ Adventure!

1. TRY SOMETHING NEW

When was the last time you stepped out of your comfort zone? REALLY stepped out? Trying a new restaurant (though it can be fun) doesn’t count. Putting yourself in a situation that you might find uncomfortable, is one way to discover a new passion or hobby that you may fall in love with. Stand-up Paddle Boarding is quickly gaining popularity as an outdoor activity and pairing it with yoga was as inevitable as peanut butter meeting jelly.

2. DEEPEN YOUR YOGA PRACTICE

In yoga, as in all walks of life, we strive to improve. Trying out yoga on a Stand-up Paddle Board is a surefire way to discover new possibilities in your practice, challenge your defaults and to help you to understand your body in a new way. Think you’ve mastered a pose, or an entire sequence? Wait until you try it on a board!

3. CONNECT WITH NATURE

How often do you disconnect? Get away from the phone, unplug from the internet and let yourself enjoy nature. Our vision for Spotted Dog Adventures is to get out into nature and explore. We are so fortunate to be surrounded by lakes, mountains, rivers and forests… Let’s explore them together!

4. CONNECT WITH OTHERS

At Spotted Dog Yoga, we aim to expand and cultivate our community on a daily basis. We see these Adventures as another opportunity for this. We have already been on two Spotted Dog Adventures, both were Ski Day’s to South Lake Tahoe, and there were unbelievably fun experiences. It’s a promise that we will make every experience with Spotted Dog Yoga a memorable one.

5. BE PART OF A MOVEMENT

Stand-Up Paddle Board Yoga simply does NOT exist on a consistent level in the Sacramento area. We are so excited to be the first studio to offer it and we want to share it with as many people as possible!
